PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system by which the growth record of a child or a family adapted to present or future living environment can be left without damaging the beauty of a pillar by scratching, and by which a weight, a photograph taken at the date of measurement, etc. can electronically be stored and managed as against a conventional system which is used only for measuring the height. SOLUTION: The family growth recording system 1 comprises a height measuring instrument 3 provided at the pillar 2 or a wall in a house; a weight measuring instrument 4 provided at the foot part of the height measuring instrument 3; and an operation device 5 for recording measurement data measured by operating the height measuring instrument 3 and the weight measuring instrument 4.
