PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a mold for tire vulcanization which is excellent in working properties to simplify a process for molding a gypsum mold in a gypsum casting method. SOLUTION: When a dummy cipe 11 is inserted into the sipe part 10a of a master 10 in a process for producing a casting mold of gypsum, in parts inserted in advance into a part projecting from the tread surface Q of the dummy sipe 11 and the rubber mold 12 of a casting sipe 13, notch parts 11a and 13a of the same shape are formed, and the casting sipe 13 is inserted into a channel in the rubber mold 12 formed by the dummy sipe 11.
