PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seesaw type polar electromagnetic relay in which a permanent magnet is positioned with a high accuracy and a good reliability at low cost. SOLUTION: An armature block 10 is formed by putting a permanent magnet 2 between a positioning member 1 engagement-fixed to a yoke of a electromagnetic coil and an armature 3 to form a lamination layer, and these are formed in a body with a hinge spring 4 and incorporated in an electromagnetic relay. The positioning member 1 includes dowels 12 for positioning two sides of the permanent magnet 2, an arm 11 for positioning other two sides, and a pawl portion 14 formed opposite to the arm 11, and thus the permanent magnet 2 is positioned without clattering in three directions perpendicular to each other. A space between tips of the arms 11 is formed narrow in advance and the permanent magnet 1 is inserted under pressure between both of the arms 11. The positioning member 1 is manufactured by press-processing at low cost, thereby deleting the possibility of misregistration of the permanent magnet 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
