<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium capable of performing good recording and reproducing by using laser with a wavelength of 300 to 900 nm. <P>SOLUTION: The optical recording medium contains in a recording layer at least one kind of a tetraamine derivative to obtain an excellent C/N ratio to a recording laser wavelength and a reproducing laser wavelength and also to obtain a high-quality signal characteristic having an excellent reproducing optical stability.
