PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make lifting height higher at the time of high-lift work, by increasing the length of a boom provided on a high-lift work vehicle. SOLUTION: The high-lift work vehicle 1 comprises the boom wherein a base end boom 5a and a tip end boom 5b are telescopically assembled and attached, an expanding/contracting arm 6 attached to a tip end of the boom 5, and a workbench 7 attached to a tip end of the expanding/contracting arm 6. The expanding/contracting arm 6 is formed by a parallel link mechanism composed of an upper arm 21 and a lower arm 22. The upper arm 21 and the lower arm 22 is pivotally united to the tip end boom 5b at each first end, and pivotally united to the workbench 7 at each second end. While the boom 5 is contracted in a fully contracting state, a boom head 5c of the tip end boom 5b is structured so as to locate a pivotally uniting position between the tip end boom 5b and at least either one of the upper arm 21 or the lower arm 22 on the base end side rather than a tip end surface of the base end boom 5a, and at a position lower than a lower surface of the base end boom 5a.
