<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk brake enabling an increase in production efficiency by easily drilling a hole forming a passage for a brake fluid and enabling an increase in the freedom degree of design on the position of the hole forming the fluid passage. <P>SOLUTION: This disk brake comprises a pair of pads arranged on both sides of the disk, the caliper body 16 arranged across the disk, and a piston slidably held on the pad of the caliper body 16 on the opposite side of the disk. A prepared hole for a bore 31 slidably fitted to the piston and a recessed part 63 recessed from the bottom part side of the prepared hole to the radial outer side of the prepared hole are formed by a core in casting.
