PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relatively easily achieve an optimal cooking function according to various types of rice brands to be cooked. SOLUTION: A rice bag on sale is attached with an electronic tag indicating parameters of quality characteristics such as a brand, a production place, a harvesting time and a milling time of the rice. On the other hand, an electric rice cooker side is input with parameter information from the electronic tag, sets an optical rice cooking heat control mode according to the input information content, and executes the rice cooking. This constitution can ideally cook the rice according to the various types of brands without impressing any burden such as an input operation to a user. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
