<p>An electric wire which is easily identified and suppresses a decrease in the quality of a wire harness to be assembled, and a wire coloring apparatus. An electric wire (1) comprises a core (2) and a coated section (3) that coats the core (2). The outer surface (3a) of the coated section (3) has a first identifying section (4) and a mark (5). The first identifying section (4) lies over the whole periphery of the outer surface (3a) of the coated section (3) located at the central section (1a) of the wire (1) in the longitudinal direction. The first identifying section (4) is formed of the outer surface (3a) colored in a first color (G) different from the color (P) of a colorless synthetic resin which constitutes the coated section (3). The mark (5) lies in a colorless region (6) provided at each end (1b) of the wire (1). The colorless region (6) is formed by removing the colorless coated section (3). The mark (5) lies by keeping the colorless region (6) colored partially in a second color (H).</p> |
