<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance management system, a method and a program for enabling both a user and a maintenance management department to reduce the complication of the failure repair of an electrical apparatus and for achieving acceleration in repair. <P>SOLUTION: When a personal computer 6 (electrical apparatus) is purchased by a customer, an QR code label 7 is attached to the personal computer 6 at a store. A portable telephone 3 incorporating an QR code reading part 31 reads the QR code label 7, and information read by a QR code reading part 31 is transmitted to a failure repair accepting device 2.
