Tile (1) comprises an electroluminescent foil lamp (6) arranged between a lower solid layer (5) made from glass, plastic or ceramic and an upper solid layer (4) made from glass, transparent or translucent plastic. The lamp is surrounded by a sealed connection between the upper and lower layers. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement of a tile in a composite structure on a floor or wall surface.
