DIELECTRIC CERAMIC COMPOSITION AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric ceramic composition having controllable temperature coefficient τf and having a Qf value and a specific dielectric constant εr suitable, for example, for a quasi-millimeter wave or millimeter wave band, the temperature coefficient τf being nearly zero.

SOLUTION: In the dielectric ceramic composition, the temperature coefficient τf is controlled by adding CaTiO3to MgO. For example, when the molar ratio of MgO is expressed by (a) and the molar ratio of CaTiO3is expressed by (b), excellent temperature coefficient τf is attained by adding CaTiO3to MgO so that relations of (a+b)=1 and 0.015≤b≤0.04 are satisfied. The temperature coefficient τf is controlled to nearly zero.
