PURPOSE: Provided is a catalyst for fuel cell electrode, which exhibits excellent properties in methanol oxidation and oxygen reduction compared to the conventional catalyst, and can be prepared at low cost due to reduction of the use of precious metals, by using a system comprised of at least four metal components. CONSTITUTION: The catalyst for fuel cell electrode comprises at least 4 metal components selected from the group consisting of platinum, ruthenium, molybdenum, tungsten, gold, iron, selenium, cobalt, and nickel; optionally inorganic supports such as carbon supports. |
