PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the safety of a vending machine that uses combustible HC refrigerant by reducing the risk of leakage of the refrigerant. SOLUTION: The vending machine has a refrigerating unit 8 with the combustible refrigerant sealed therein. A casing 1 and a door 2 form outer walls that separate the inside from the outside. The force to keep the door 2 closed is equal to or greater than the strength of the outer walls. The ceiling wall of the casing 1 is weakest in strength among the outer walls to prevent the outer walls from being broken even in the event of leakage of the refrigerant so as to prevent damage around the vending machine.
