PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cosmetic composition excellent in stability with time while taking advantage of characteristics of a crosslinking type polyamino acid not having stickiness when used, being familiar to the skin and the hair and excellent in moisturizing effect. SOLUTION: This cosmetic composition comprises (a) one or more kinds of amino acids selected from a crosslinking type polyamino acid (preferably a crosslinking type poly-γ-glutamic acid or a crosslinking type polyasparatic acid) and its salts and (b) a carboxyvinyl polymer and/or an alkyl-modified carboxyvinyl polymer. The cosmetic composition comprises, preferably, the component (a) in an amount of 0.01-30.0 mass% and the component (b) in an amount of 0.01-30 mass%. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
