RADIO NETWORK, ACCESS POINT, ACCESS POINT MAINTENANCE METHOD USED THEREFOR, AND PROGRAM THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an access point capable of improving the degree of freedom in setting an apparatus by prohibiting unauthorized access from unspecified number of radio LAN terminals. SOLUTION: A MAC address storage unit 1c of a storage device 1b stores an MAC address for permitting to set an access point and its authority level. An AP setting item storage unit 1d stores various setting items concerning the operation of the access point and an authority level required for changing its set value. A MAC address comparing means 1f of a data processing apparatus 1e compares the MAC address of a radio LAN terminal station received from a radio network interface unit 1a with the MAC address stored in the unit 1c. An access control means 1g permits the corresponding radio LAN terminal station to change changeable items at the authority level in the unit 1d on the basis of the comparison result and the authority level possessed by its MAC address.
