A process for producing a compound (C) represented by the formula (C) (wherein R<1> means hydrogen, C1-6 alkyl, or C3-8 cycloalkyl; and R<2> means hydrogen or methoxy), characterized by reacting a compound (A-1) represented by the formula (A-1) (wherein R<1> has the same meaning as defined above) with a compound (B) represented by the formula (B) (wherein R<2> has the same meaning as defined above; and L means a leaving group). The compound (C) is effective in the prevention of or treatments for various diseases accompanied by abnormal proliferation of angiogenesis.
