Device for grinding running surface edges (14) of a winter sport device comprises positioning a cup wheel (5) together with an adjusting unit (2, 3) in a housing (8) forming the guide (11) for the running surface edges and displacing the cup wheel against the force of a spring (4) using the adjusting unit against the edge surface in the direction of the axis of rotation of the wheel. Preferred Features: The cup wheel is displaced against the spring force using a spring-loaded threaded pinion as adjusting unit. An accumulator detachedly fixed to the housing an connecting a drive unit (1) is also provided.
