Method and system for querying a multimedia database from a telecommunication terminal

The method involves calculating an extracted part of a database from a set of interrogation criteria elaborated to preceding iteration, and from criteria vector. The vector has characteristic values of the fixed set of interrogation criteria. The vector is initialized during initialization of the method if a current iteration is an initial iteration and determined during preceding iteration. An independent claim is also included for a multimodal interrogation system.
