PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balancing machine capable of making a person superficial in knowledge and experience as to each degree of vibration mode of a testing object correct easily unbalance in the each degree of vibration mode and carry out a balance test easily. SOLUTION: This balancing machine 100 for testing a balance condition of the testing object S when rotating the testing object S is provided with a driving means 1 for rotating the testing object S, a support part 2 for supporting the testing object S, a support part oscillating device 3 for inertia-oscillating the support part 2 along a prescribed direction, a rotation control means (for example, rotation control part 6) for controlling the driving means (for example, motor 1) to rotate the testing object S at a rotation frequency lower than a resonance frequency in the primary vibration mode, and an oscillation frequency control means 8 for controlling the support part oscillating device 3 to inertia-oscillate the testing object S rotated by the rotation control means at the frequency substantially equal to the resonance frequency in the optional degree of vibration mode.
