<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a high danger that oxygen is pulled out from niobium suboxide without being controlled during a high temperature treatment process sometimes carried out at a temperature reaching 1,600 °C in connection with the manufacture of a niobium suboxide anode, particularly in the case niobium suboxide and niobium metal come into direct contact with each other at the high temperatuer becuase niobium metal is an oxygen getter material having tendency to incorporate oxygen at a high temperature. <P>SOLUTION: A device used in the manufacture of the solid electrolyte capacitor anode is formed as a sintered compact using niobium suboxide, if necessary, magnesium oxide as the base. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
