<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EL display device for maximizing an area of an image display part formed on a certain size of a substrate. <P>SOLUTION: The EL display device comprises the substrate 110, an EL display part having a plurality of pixels 128 arranged for each area defined by intersections between gate lines and data lines formed on the substrate, a first gate driver 122a formed in the left side region on the substrate adjacent to the left side of the EL display part to drive the odd numbered gate lines among the gate lines, a second gate driver 122b formed in the right side region on the substrate adjacent to the right side of the EL display part to drive the even numbered gate lines among the gate lines, a data driver 124 formed on the substrate adjacent to any one of the upper and lower sides of the EL display part to drive the above data lines. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
