PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To renovate a conventional waste cloth method in the decontamination of a small-bore pipe and enable an efficient work with a simple automatic mechanical device. SOLUTION: The small-bore pipe is slowly moved while being rotated at a high speed by rotating upper and lower belt conveyors in the same direction, making the speed of a lower conveyor belt which moves in the delivery direction of the small-bore pipe higher than that of an upper conveyor belt and allowing the pipe to pass between the upper and lower conveyor belts. Then, the small-bore pipe is continuously decontaminated by using nylon scrubbing brushes and waste cloth wipers during the interval that it is passing between the upper and lower belt conveyors.
