Flexible vented thermal insulation material packaging method comprises folding a flexible thermal insulation material, along a set of folding lines parallel to a transversal direction of its length to obtain a panel (13) of folded material. The panel is compressed along its thickness direction orthogonal to an end face (24) by using a platen (12). A package is associated to the compressed panel for maintaining the panel in a compressed state. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a packaged product obtained by a packaging method; and (b) an equipment for the packaging of a flexible vented thermal insulation material.
