METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING CORRUGATED SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately manufacture a corrugated sheet on which a plurality of closely adhered bent parts where are extended in parallel are projected like ridges on one surface of a metallic sheet at prescribed intervals. SOLUTION: After intermittently feeding the metallic sheet 16 with a feed means 21 and accurately positioning the metallic sheet 16 by engaging a positioning pawl 23 with the notch 22a of a positioning member 22 fixed to the metallic sheet 16, because a U-shaped bent part 16b' is formed by pressing the metal sheet 16 with a die 24 in a state wherein the positioning pawl 23 is disengaged from the notch 22a, the generation of thickness reduction is prevented by uniformly pulling the metallic sheet 16 in from both sides of the U-shaped bent part 16b' and the generation of strain is prevented by equalizing the thickness in the U-shaped bent part 16b'.
