PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming curving grooves on a brim interlining for a cap, by which the grooves for curving the brim interlining can continuously and efficiently be formed with rollers at a low equipment cost and at a low processing cost. SOLUTION: This method for forming the many parallel curving grooves 2 for curving the brim interlining 1 on one side of the cap brim interlining 1 formed from a synthetic resin plate in a prescribed shape is characterized by rotating a rotary drum 13 and a grooved roller 14 disposed in the proximity to the rotary drum 13 and having projections disposed on the outer circumferential surface, feeding and passing the brim interlining 1 between the rotated rotary drum 13 and the rotated grooved roller 14 to press the interlining with the projections of the grooving roller 14, thus forming the curving grooves 2 on one side of the brim interlining 1.
