PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit information attached to a transmitted video signal simultaneously with the video signal and to enable an audience to easily output the received information as needed. SOLUTION: A signal received by an antenna 21 is demodulated in a receiving circuit 22 and supplied to a data detection/extraction circuit 23 and a video monitor 25. The data detection.extraction circuit 23 extracts a data signal from the supplied video signal and supplies the data signal to a data decode circuit 24. The data decode circuit 24 decodes the data signal into transmission information and supplies the information to a temporary information storage circuit 26. The temporary information storage circuit 26 holds the supplied information just for a fixed time and simultaneously notifies the reception of the information just for the similar time via the video monitor 25. Further, when information display is instructed from an information display instruction circuit 27 while the temporary information storage circuit 26 holds the information, the information held in the temporary information storage circuit 26 is outputted onto the video monitor 25.
