BUILDING FINISHING BOARD AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building finishing board which has quick moisture absorbing/desorbing property, and does not undergo adhesion or separation of diatomaceous earth even if an article makes contact with the same, and to provide a method of manufacturing the building finishing board. SOLUTION: The building finishing board consists of a substrate board 1 formed of a plywood board or a plaster board; a fiber sheet 2 stuck to a front surface of the substrate board; and a particulate diatomaceous earth layer 3 arranged on a front surface of the fiber sheet 2 to a thickness at which a material pattern of the fiber sheet 2 is embossed as bumps and dips. The particulate diatomaceous earth layer contains diatomaceous earth particles having a size of about 2 to 6μm as a main ingredient, and a water-soluble adhesive mixed therein.
