PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the assemblability of a camshaft holder by forming the pivot part of a rocker arm integrally with the camshaft holder so that the rocker arm can be mounted on the camshaft holder before the camshaft holder is mounted in a cylinder head. SOLUTION: A connection structure part 47 crossing the holder 40 is formed on the camshaft holder 40 formed in a roughly rectangular shape in plan view starting at one face 40A1 thereof in the longitudinal direction toward the other face 40A2, and a pivot receiving part 47a is formed on the connection structure part 47. Also, a lubricating oil passage 48d is formed in the connection structure part 47, and a lubricating oil is fed to the pivot receiving part 47a through the oil passage 48d. The pivot shaft of the rocker arm is supported on the pivot receiving part 47a through the spherical support part thereof so that lubrication in the pivotal motion of the rocker arm about the pivot part can be performed.
