PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sunshade apparatus that can cover a substantially entire area of a window of a vehicle, can be arranged to avoid interference with a sunroof and the like, and can provide a wide space in an occupant compartment. SOLUTION: This sunshade apparatus is provided with a blind sheet 21 (121) and a roll shade section 22 (122) that unwinds the blind sheet 21 (121) and is arranged along an edge of the window. The roll shade section 22 (122) includes a center shaft 22a curved in conformity with a shape of the edge of the window, and a rotary rod 22d that receives the center shaft 22a therethrough and is connected to a base end of the blind sheet 21 (121). The rotary rod 22d is curved in conformity with the curved shape of the center shaft 22a and is rotatable around the center shaft 22a.
