PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilizing apparatus of simple structure and miniaturization which is easy to carry and move for simply sterilize footwear at the entrance of a guest room, a banquet hall, a bathroom, etc. by associating a control circuit, a motor and a compression pump with each other by the operation of an optoelectronic switch or a manual switching switch installed at the entrance of the guest room etc. to jet compressed air from a compressed air jetting nozzle to atomize a sterilizing solution from a container of it to spray from the sterilizing solution spray nozzle through a hose. SOLUTION: By the operation of the optoelectronic switch or the manual switching switch installed at the entrance of the guest room etc., the motor 9 is rotated for a prescribed period through the control circuit 7 for setting a spraying quantity, and the compression pump 10 is associated therewith to jet the compressed air from the compressed air jetting nozzle 12. With internal pressure made in an atomizing chamber 13, the sterilizing solution 17 from the container 16 is atomized thorugh a sterilizing solution return pipe 14, a suction pipe 18 and a sterilizing solution discharge nozzle 19 and sprayed toward the footwear such as slippers from the sterilizing solution spray nozzle 23 through the hose 120 for sterilization.
