<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective pipe device making a protective pipe hard to be disconnected from a connection body even when an impact force is applied thereto and having excellent durability. <P>SOLUTION: This protective pipe device 1 comprises a holding body 2 detachably installed on a branch line W, the protective pipe 3 formed so that the peripheral end parts thereof can be disposed oppositely to each other at a specified interval, the connection body 4 to which the peripheral end parts of the protective pipe 3 are joined, a fastener 5 fastening the protective pipe 3 to the holding body 2, and a cap 6 fitted onto the upper end part of the protective pipe 3. Locking claws 31a and 32a are formed at the peripheral end parts 31 and 32 of the protective pipe 3 oppositely to each other. The connection body 4 is formed in the same length as the protective pipe 3 and in an H-shape in cross section having an inscribed plate 41 in contact with the inner surface of the protective pipe 3, a circumscribed plate 42 in contact with the outer surface of the protective pipe 3, and a connection part 43 connecting the center parts of these inscribed plate 41 and the circumscribed plate 42 to each other.
