<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transfer sheet which can impart an excellent printability of an aqueous stamping ink to an image formed on an image receiving sheet; outstanding writability and fastness, and a printed matter which can absorb/anchor the aqueous stamping ink and is provided with an image showing the printability, writability and fastness. <P>SOLUTION: This heat transfer sheet is constituted of at least a monochromic dye layer and a releasable heat-transferable protecting layer formed, in that planar order, on one surface of a base sheet. The dye layer is formed on the base sheet through an adhesive layer, and the heat transferable protecting layer is of a multi-layer structure consisting of a substantially transparent water-absorbing surface layer and a heat adhesive resin layer, laminated from the base material sheet side. In addition, the printed matter is obtained by transferring the heat transferable protecting layer in such a way that at least a part of the image formed by a heat transfer process using the dye layer on the base material is covered. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
