A language studying method using a cellular phone is provided to display a downloaded letter or a sentence as a moving picture according to an order of the letter or the sentence when the letter or the sentence is set on the desktop, and to further display drawings, images, Korean explanations or pronunciations, so that a user can study a foreign language at any time, any place. Data for studying a foreign language is stored in moving image or flash compression/transmission format, to use the data on the desktop of a cellular phone by a language studying server. If a subscriber requests a language study function, the server transmits the stored language study data to a cellular phone number requested by the subscriber. A cellular phone controller sets the data on the desktop. The set data is outputted as a moving picture through a display of the cellular phone. |
