<p>The process involves injecting a saline tracer, particularly brine drops, upstream of a point of flow. The conductivity of the downstream water from the injection point is measured, in real time, along two electrode sets (7, 8) spaced from each other in the flow direction, using two electrodes (9) placed in each set and immersed in the ground water. The electrodes are transversely separated by a distance. An independent claim is also included for a device for implementing a process of measuring the flow rate and velocity of weak, natural, continuous water flow.</p> |
