PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active energy ray-polymerizable composition that is very small in shrinkage in curing, superior in adhesion, transparency, abrasion resistance, and also in solvent resistance. SOLUTION: The active energy ray-curable composition comprises a silane-modulated oligomer(A) obtainable from a compound having hydroxyl groups and oxetane groups, and a tetraalkoxysilane compound, and fine silica particles(B), and an optical cationic polymerization initiator(C). The active energy ray-curable composition may further contain a compound(D) having a cationic polymerizing group. In this composition, this compound(D) having the cationic polymerising group is an epoxy compound and/or an oxetane compound. Furthermore, the composition sometimes contain an alkoxysilane compound(E) expressed by general formula(1):(R<SB>1</SB>)<SB>p</SB>Si(OR<SB>2</SB>)<SB>4-p</SB>. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
