PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof for a wheelchair which allows getting on and off from its front side even when providing the roof functioning as a rain cover on a front side. SOLUTION: Regarding the roof for the wheelchair, a roof sheet functioning as the rain cover is tensed by two supports. As an expansion means for deforming/shifting the two supports in the shape of a beer barrel or in a parallel state, (1) a member for keeping the supports away from the wheelchair to a lateral side is provided between the supports and fitting parts on the side of the wheelchair for fitting the supports, and (2) a strut rod a little longer than a distance between the supports when they are parallel to each other is bridged between the supports.
