PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system and an information providing method capable of exchanging a user's private information related to articles excellently with the mobile communication terminal, and to provide a mobile communication terminal and a server device to be used for the system. SOLUTION: In the mobile communication terminal 10, image data including a two-dimensional bar code 4 are obtained from a commuter pass 2 and an URL to be related to the commuter pass 2 are obtained from a user, and these are radio transmitted to a portal side transmission receiving means 22 of the information providing system 50. In the information providing system 50, the received URL is stored in a storage means 44 in relation to an ID number included in received image data.
