<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passage selecting device for selecting a fluid flow to one of two passages having different flow widths, capable of lessening the flow resistance by forming the device with one door. <P>SOLUTION: The passage selecting device 40 is equipped with a first passage 1, a second 2 and a third passage 3 connected with the downstream of the first passage 1 and having different flow widths, and a slide door 4 to select the flow passage so that the fluid flowing in the first passage 1 is led to at least one of the second 2 and third passages 3, wherein one end 4c of the slide door 4 slides between one end 1a and the second end 1b of the edge of the downstream end of the first passage 1 while the other end 4h of the slide door 4 slides along at least one of the second 2 and third passages 3, which enables selection of the flow passage using only one slide door without requiring the use of a butterfly door, and it is possible to lessen the flowing resistance, compared with the case where a butterfly door is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
