PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability to a probable travel distance displayed in addition to prevention of a sudden change in the probable travel distance displayed by properly calculating an initial probable travel distance in completion of fuel feeding, and correcting it. SOLUTION: In the device and method for displaying the probable travel distance of a vehicle, the initial probable travel distance after feeding is calculated based on variable milage between feeding times. The initial probable travel distance is corrected by the use of the difference between a probable travel distance by fixed milage and the probable travel distance by variable milage, whereby the accuracy of the probable travel distance displayed is ensured, and the sudden change in the probable travel distance is prevented to ensure the reliability of probable travel distance display.
