The method, equipment and software are for presentation of a user of a text of non-activatable and activatable text constituents, e.g. referring to a digital information object. The text is converted into audio format, whereby the activatable text components are presented in an audio format which differs from that applicable to the non-activatable text components. The activatable text constituents can then be activated by the user by means of audio or non-audio input. The activatable text constituents converted into audio can e.g. be preceded and/or followed by an attention signal. A mobile terminal (1) is used, which via a communication module (2) can interchange with a suitable network (3), usable for telephony and data, including Internet. In the terminal, the communication module (2) is connected with a control module (4), in which a number of control functions are incorporated. The terminal has a video screen (6) and a keyboard (7) on an input/output module (5). The keyboard incorporates a pointer device, with which a pointer on the video screen can be moved and selections made.
