<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote user's mutual use by especially making facility use and information content use organically linked to each method and each device suitable to organically link the facility use and the information content use, in a content provision method allowing the facility use and the information content use, a benefit provision method, a method for content provision and benefit provision, a device for a service commodity provision facility, and a content provision device. <P>SOLUTION: Facility use history information according to the facility use is written into a portable medium by a writer, the written facility use history information is read from the portable medium by a reader, and information content corresponding to the read facility use history information is provided from the content provision device.
