<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user who is unfamiliar with the usage of a cellular phone to easily know the operation state of a bus without requiring an excessive cost for a bus company or installation of a GPS terminal to the cellular phone. <P>SOLUTION: This system comprises: a bus position detection means for detecting the position of each bus at each time; a bus operation state calculation means for calculating the bus operation state for every route or for every bus stop on the basis of the position of each bus at each time detected by the bus position detection means and identification information of each bus; a readable recording medium showing bus stop identification information of each bus stop and route identification information of each route passing each bus stop; and a transmitting means for transmitting, on receipt of the bus stop identification information and route identification information read from the readable storage medium, the bus operation state corresponding to the bus stop and route shown by the received bus stop identification information and route identification information to the transmitter of the bus stop identification information and route identification information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
