PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of camera module apparatuses that is advantageous to the simplicity of assembling work while downsizing the camera module apparatus, and to provide a shield case used in the method. SOLUTION: A camera module 20 is fitted to a front case 32 by engaging each engagement projection 2208 of a lens barrel 22 with each engagement hole 3208. When a rear case 34 faces a rear part of the front case 32 and the front case 32 approaches the rear case 34, since rear edges of three side faces 3206 of the front case 32 are pressed into contact with three guide plates 3408 of the rear case 34, the front case 32 is easily positioned inside the side faces 3404 of the rear case 34 and smoothly guided. Each engagement projection 3210 is engaged with each engagement hole 3406 and the rear case 34 is fitted to the front case 32.
