<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a high-speed and large-capacity frame image buffer. <P>SOLUTION: The frame image buffer device comprises a memory 41 for storing image data of a frame image inputted in a raster scanning state, and a memory control circuit 42 for performing the writing and reading of image data in FIFO format to the memory 41. The device further comprises a writing data generation circuit 43 for organizing a frame position signal for specifying the pixel at the tip or rear end of the frame image and a line position signal for specifying the pixel at the tip or rear end of each horizontal scanning line of the frame image, which are inputted with the frame image to data writable to the memory with the image data, so that the data generated in the writing data generation circuit 43 can be written to the memory 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
