<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antiseptic fungicide containing a 1,2-alkanediol in combination with an N-coconut oil fatty acid acyl-L-arginine ethyl pyrrolidonecarboxylic acid salt to synergistically increase the characteristic antibacterial power of the 1,2-alkanediol and the N-coconut oil fatty acid acyl-L-arginine ethyl pyrrolidonecarboxylic acid salt, and provide cosmetics, medicines and foods compounded with the antiseptic fungicide. <P>SOLUTION: The antiseptic fungicide having synergistically increased antibacterial power is produced by using the 5-10C 1,2-alkanediol in combination with the N-coconut oil fatty acid acyl-L-arginine ethyl pyrrolidonecarboxylic acid salt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
