Improved control lines for kite especially surfing kite has the main lines connected to the kite by double lines via pulleys and connected to the central line via a double line over a central pulley

An improved system of control lines for a large kite, e.g. for surfing, has the two outer control lines (8a, 8c) threaded through the control bar (10) and attached to outer pulleys (4a, 4c) each of which support a double line linked to the kite. The central control line (8b) is set through the center of the control bar and is tied to the trapeze harness. The upper end is attached to a central pulley (4b-1) which has a double line looped through and attached to the outer control lines and to the kite. The user has improved control by moving the control bar to either side and to and fro. The trapeze line is attached via a rapid safety release.
