The present invention relates to a method and device providing specified reliability parameters due to repeatedly transmitting data frames at minimal required signal transmission power. The proposed method is distinctive by estimating, at the transmitting station, the rate of transmission of error-containing data frames depending on signal transmission power and determining the ratio between the initial transmission power and the repeated transmission power that ensures the specified reliabilityparameters at the minimal transmission power that is required for the initial and repeated signal transmission. First, the transmitting station transmits a data frame at the initial transmission power, then receives from the receiving station an error message that was detected during the data frame reception and repeatedly transmits that data frame at the power transmission level that is defined according to the said ratio between the transmission powers that ensures the specified reliability parameters in communication. |
