PURPOSE: A device for regulating the surface figure of workpieces of a rotary grinder is provided to machine cubically the workpieces, to move finely a work table, and accordingly to remove backlash generated in moving the work table by a height adjusting unit. CONSTITUTION: In a rotary grinder comprising a work table on which workpieces are fixed; a wheel separated from the work table and rotated to machine the workpieces by a grinding chip; and a base for supporting the work table and the wheel, a device for regulating the surface figure of workpieces is composed of at least two sets of helical shafts(3) screw-combined to base helices(12) formed on a base attaching unit(11) stuck to the base. The front ends of the helical shafts are contacted on each spot of the outer periphery of the work table. The work table is supported to the base by the helical shafts.
