Warp sewing machine and process to sew a thread to a tea bag or medical dressing

A warp sewing machine attaches a thread to a tea bag or a medical dressing in a process in which the thread anchorage stitch is first created on the work piece and the needle (2) brought to a stop with a loop around a form (1). A pick-up hook then draws a further length of thread from the bobbin and the thread is separated by a cutter. The thread with loop are then surrendered from the sewing machine. Also claimed is a suitable warp sewing machine.
