PURPOSE: Provided is a battery charger reducing heat caused by charging a battery which serially treats charged current amount generated from an AC/DC conversion part so that it reduces heat caused by the charged current amount. CONSTITUTION: The battery charger reducing heat caused by charging the battery comprises the parts of: the AC/DC conversion part(21) which converts AC to DC; a first switch(22) which lets a first current adjusting part(23) control the charged current amount, which is divided as load at each node; a second switch(24) which lets a second current adjusting part(25) control the charged current amount; the first current adjusting part which adjusts minute current amount to get specific charged current amount sent through the first switch to be the same as regular charged current amount of the battery; the second current adjusting part which adjusts minute current amount to get specific charged current amount sent through the second switch to be the same as regular charged current amount of the battery; and a charge controller(26) which detects charged current generated from AC/DC conversion part to turn on the first and the second switch and let the charged current transferred to the first and the second adjusting part and detects overcharge of the battery to turn off the first and the second switch.
